We are taking the mantra of “Do Something Indy” to the next level and showcasing people who are doing good things for our community.
Our Beginning
Do Something Indy was born out of the John Schmitz Indianapolis mayoral campaign in 2019. With the slogan of “Do Something Indy” to inspire people to get involved in their communities, it became a mantra or battle cry to get people involved in making positive change. After campaigning was over, the decision was made to keep the effort going!

Do Something Indy is now a Facebook and Youtube show focused on highlighting people doing good things in and for Indianapolis! Do you know someone who needs to be seen? Do you know a story that needs to be told of someone or an organization doing good things? Message us about getting them on the show!
Our Mission
To showcase the people and organizations doing good things in our community. It can be something as simple as being a friendly neighbor or as big as starting a business that serves a specific population or need in our city.
